Once you have been chosen as a spokes model you will be photographed as soon as possible. Within 1 week you will be able to preview your photographs and we will choose images for your spokes model cards and 6x6 book.

Spokes models will receive 50 cards with their photographs and the studio’s information. The cards will also offer a special for 8 free wallets when the card is presented to Always Portraits by Sally by your friends. Spokes models will receive credit for each student that books and completes a session. Students MUST present their cards at the time of booking to receive their 8 wallets.

One Year Old {H}

This little girl was so fun to watch toddling around in the tall grass. :) She didn't even fall on the mud, though I thought sure she would at least once! I was impressed! I hope her mommy enjoys this little tease. :)

Announcing a new look/logo!!

I've been trying for some time to come up with clear branding for Always Portraits. My style has and is continuing to redefine and improve, and with that change I wanted to present a modern, clean, professional look to my new marketing materials! I finally discovered that , like taking portraits of yourself, it's harder to design for your own business, so I hired Tracy Stone from http://www.sugarlimedesigns.com/. She worked really hard and came up with this design, and I LOVE it!! I needed something that attracted people with the colors, but didn't drive guys off with flowers. :D

In a few days I will be launching a new look for my blog too. She knows WAY more about blogs than I do and will be designing the whole 9 yards. I can't wait!! :) In the meantime you'll be noticing changes to the colors on the website and new pictures going up. :D Of course, all of this will have to take place between working on my wonderful clients' portraits!!

Logo Design

So, I know I just changed my logo, but I'm still not happy with it! It needs some color and needs to make a person smile, so... I've called in the expert! In a few weeks I should have the result of her handiwork. Check out her handiwork! :) www.sugarlimedesigns.com

No Internet

Hi! Just a quick note to let you know that if you're trying to reach me today via email, I may not get them. We've displaced all of our furniture and office stuff in order to lay new floors tomorrow. My Internet connection is in the room getting redone, so I will not be able to log on. I will, however, be available by phone. Please feel free to call 270-498-8255. Thank you!

Fairytales do come true....

This couple was SO fun!! I was stressing because it was cloudy and we'd chosen to do these pictures in the evening, but all went well. These are just a few of the unique things we got during this session! If only it were always this natural!

New Logo

Hi there! Spring is busy! Yay! I know it is for most of you. The rain has slowed the calls down a bit and given me a chance to do some things that need to be done around here. I've been working on a knitting project and making some things to pose newborns in, shopping for a few cool props and designing a new logo! My husband and I are getting new flooring put down this month and then I can't WAIT to take pictures on it with Natural light! Those of you who've had sessions here know that my space is small, but without bulky lights, I have lots of ideas.... :)

Also, I've got help! Amy will be coming in on Tuesdays and helping me keep my ducks in a row. I'm not a naturally organized person and the busier I get, the less organized I am! I'm SO glad she's agreed to help me! She will be making calls, helping with orders and just being a friendly face when you pick your orders up and I'm not here. You can already email her amy@alwaysportraitsbysally.com.

Soon you will see new info on my website. I'm redoing my pricing slightly, updating my operating hours and generally updating the pictures. You'll notice I've already designed a new logo! My little sister was gracious and drew the other one for me, but I haven't felt like it quite fit my style or my site, so TaDa! We have a new one!

One last thing, Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 and 21st Amy and I will be hosting an open house aimed at High School Seniors who will be needing portraits this summer. There will be door prizes, a drawing and snacks. Anyone is welcome, but the goal is to let the teens know I'm here and I'm available to go to the location of their choice.

Yours,
Sally

Spring is here!

So, I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted! I have had lots of sessions since the grass has turned green. My goal is to post a few of them each weeknight...we'll see how I do. :)

This little doll is actually the daughter of a dear high-school friend from MO. She was so happy and content and SO cute!

I'm pleased to announce that I have the album sample that I promised at the Bridal Expo...finally!!! It's beautiful!!!

Hospital Session

I have been wanting to have someone let me come to the hospital and take their baby's first moments for some time, but not really sure how to approach someone who may feel that this is private time, I have delayed. Wednesday I finally asked my Facebook community and found someone who was gracious enough to let me in, and was headed to the hospital that very night! Talk about timing!
So, yes, I would most certainly come for your baby's first day! Session fee is the same as my portrait sessions and this one lasted only about 30 min today, but I'm willing to take longer if baby needs to eat or be changed. Thank you, JT and Brandi, for letting me be a part of your new baby girl's arrival! Congratulations!!
